Wider Community

As we said on our home page we are a part of Link Up, a grouping of churches in Chester / Cheshire who have a heart to work together in sharing God's love.

We strongly believe that the Church belongs to God not to any one group or denomination, and that the churches purpose is to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and also to encourage friendship and fellowship.

The community around us is very important to us and so we open up our doors on a Tuesday and Friday for the Lighthouse Café which offers a friendly place for people to come and have a light lunch that is also very light on the pocket.  The community centre is also used by other community groups during the week.

We work closely with the other churches across the city in social outreach projects such as Crossways.  We also support and help out with many other events that come under the banner of Chesterfest.
