Queen Street Christian Centre is a partner church of engage (formally known as CAKE week as part of Chesterfest) - at the bottom of the page are some reports and photos of previous years events.

engage is a project 12 years in the making and building on the success of a one-day event in Hoole in 1997. This one day developed into a week long Hoolefest, in 2004 and then Chesterfest in 2007. Each year it has grown to include more people and to have an even greater impact on local communities. 20 local Churches have partnered with local businesses and agencies to deliver a week-long youth and community program.

In a similar vein in regards to community projects we as a church have developed links with Chester Countess Hospital to deliver what we call - Bless the Hospital Day.

On a Saturday in July for the last couple of years Queen Streeters descend on the hospital to help them by wood staining garden furniture in various hospital gardens. The days have been a great success and the hospital is very pleased with the results.
